Description:

• A primarily white stone characterized by tree-branch, fern, or lightning-bolt-like inclusions called dendrites

• The dendrite colors range from black to grey to brown 

• Type of microcrystalline quartz 

• The dendrites are formed when mineral-rich solutions seep into cracks and crevices in the agate, depositing the iron or manganese oxides.

• Mohs Hardness: 6.5 -7 

• Pairs well with:

  • Moss agate

  • Green Aventurine 

  • Clear Quartz

Description:

• Colors range from Lilac/Lavender to deep purple, it may also be green. Can have black and white inclusions. Touches of Brown, Red and Yellow can be found due to the mineral inclusion of Tinaksite. 

• Was discovered in the 1940s, but wasn’t introduced to the whole world until the 1970s 

• Classified as a rare stone

• Its name is derived from the Chara River in eastern Siberia, Russia where it is found. 

• The word ‘chary’ in Russian means magic or charm 

• Mohs Hardness: 5-6

  • Lepidolite
