• The dendrite colors range from black to grey to brown 

• Type of microcrystalline quartz 

• The dendrites are formed when mineral-rich solutions seep into cracks and crevices in the agate, depositing the iron or manganese oxides.

• Mohs Hardness: 6.5 -7
